One exciting new aspect of the Student Intern Program that we are currently trying to develop for 2010 is called "Adopt A Student". Although the only cost of participation for our student interns is room and board, we realize that this may place a financial burden on some and prevent others from joining the Program. To help alleviate some of the financial concerns of our participants, we're looking to find "benefactors" who would "adopt" a student for a summer and subsidize his or her internship. In turn, the "adopted" intern would be asked to communicate directly with the benefactor and update them on their progress during the summer.

Just $35.00 per day provides a student, field experience, food, and tent camping.
