One exciting new aspect of the Student Intern Program that we are currently trying to develop for 2008 is called "Adopt A Student". Although the only cost of participation for our student interns is room and board, we realize that this may place a financial burden on some and prevent others from joining the Program. To help alleviate some of the financial concerns of our participants, we're looking to find "benefactors" who would "adopt" a student for a summer and subsidize his or her internship. In turn, the "adopted" intern would be asked to communicate directly with the benefactor and update them on their progress during the summer.
